Safari Drive Home

Welcome to Safari Drive

Specialist self-drive safari operator since 1993

We have been organising and operating private, self drive safaris, throughout Africa for the last 22 years. We run our own fleet of the latest Land Rover 110 Defenders that we have equipped to the highest standards. We also have a back up and support network throughout Africa to give you the peace of mind 24 hours a day whilst you are on holiday.

However more than our vehicles and equipment is the knowledge and inspiration of what makes an excellent self drive holiday, whether it's for the wildlife enthusiast, family tour, or specialist photographer.

The original founders of the company are still closely involved with the daily operations which ensures that our knowledge for developing your holiday is the best there is.

Over the years we have created many thousands of unique journeys that have enabled our clients to discover Africa for themselves. Every journey is special and our aim is for you to have a safe, rewarding and satisfying self drive holiday.

Safari Drive gives you the chance to explore the deserts, delta's and National Parks of Africa driving the latest fully equipped Land Rovers. Our online brochure is here or the beautiful hard copy may be ordered here.

Through our Migration Safaris website you may include some of the best lodges and safari camps that may be combined with the driving experience for the ultimate touring safari. The stunning online brochure is located here.

The Safari Drive team are here to advise and help you create the best possible journey. We all have a deep love of Africa and have driven the back roads and tracks as well as stayed in the many camps and lodges.

Please come and visit our office in Lambourn and discuss your travel plans over a cup of coffee you will be very welcome.
