Itinerary

Location 1

Victoria Falls Hotel, Victoria Falls

Days 1 & 2

Established in 1904, the Victoria Falls Hotel is popularly known as ‘the grand old lady of the falls’. This is a luxurious 5-Star Hotel on a world heritage site overlooking the magnificent Victoria Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world. This gracious colonial style hotel is set in the lush tropical gardens and epitomizes the romance of grand travel, offering total relaxation. While staying here you will be briefed on your trip and introduced to the Land Cruiser that will be yours during your time in Botswana.

Muchenje Safari Lodge, nr. Chobe National Park

Days 3 & 4

Today, you head to Muchenje Safari Lodge which is situated on the border of Chobe National Park. It is set on an escarpment with breathtaking views of the Caprivi Strip.  Enjoy two nights here exploring Chobe and its abundant wildlife and bird species.

Ghoha Hills, Savuti

Days 5 & 6

Today you will make your way further into Chobe, to Savute. Ghoha Hills is located about 45 mins away frm the 'main' area, but we love it. Excellent guiding, food, views, pool make it a fantastic place to break your drive between Chobe and Khwai.

Sable Alley, Khwai

Days 7 & 8

Today you head further south towards Khwai. Here you will find Sable Alley, a camp that sits on the side of a lagoon next to the Khwai River. Huge numbers of animals use the lagoon on a daily basis to drink meaning the wildlife literally comes to you. Whilst based here you can head into both Moremi which is a stone's throw away or the vast Khwai Private Reserve. This private reserve offers a huge array of habits including ravine woodlands, open floodplains and mopane woodland, the varied landscapes brings in a great range of wildlife that include wild dog, rhino and sable.

Okuti, Moremi Game Reserve

Days 9 & 10

This delightful camp lies alongside the Maunachira River which flows through the Xakanaxa Lagoon, within the world renowned Moremi Game Reserve. Offering a welcome touch of comfort, Okuti is set amidst the wilderness of one of Botswana’s prime game viewing regions. Experience game drives in the Moremi Game Reserve in specially designed safari vehicles, allowing unhindered views for game viewing and photography. Moremi is a park rich in wildlife and game viewing is consistent year round so it is ideal for the first time visitor to Botswana. In addition to game drives you can explore the delta waterways by motorboat – from open lagoons to winding channels it is a birder’s paradise, especially for herons and storks in the breeding season.

Gray's Eden, Maun

Day 11

Enjoy a night's stay in this luxury boutique hotel where the tranquil surroundings make for a relaxing pause before you fly in to the Okavango Delta tomorrow. Here, you could also opt for some time in the spa or a private dinner in the Cliff Wine Cellar.

Kanana Camp, Okavango Delta

Days 12 & 13

Today you will be transferred to the airport for a short scenic flight into the Okavango Delta, to Kanana Camp. A hidden jewel on the Xudum River, Kanana is located in the southwest of the Okavango Delta. The area encompasses a necklace of islands dotted with palms, figs, ebony and knobthorn, and is home to a myriad of birds, plants and animals. The nature of the habitat means it is the perfect place to experience the diversity of species found within the Okavango Delta.

Today you will take fly back to Maun airport in good time to connect onto your international flight.
