Our trademark Tanzania itinerary, but with a twist! Here we have you complete our classic circuit, which includes all 5 of Tanzania's Northern National Parks, but then, instead of having you go home post-safari, we fly you to Pemba Island. Home to Fundu Lagoon; one of our favourite island getaway spots.
On arrival into Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be collected by a member of our team and transferred to Lemala Kili Villas. The next day you will be met by our team, briefed on the vehicles equipment and route. You then have the afternoon to relax and perhaps visit Arusha National Park.
Today, after breakfast, you set off to Tarangire National Park, home to Maweninga Tented Camp. You will be here on a Full Board basis and can self drive the park during the day. Enjoy two nights here.
Today you can enjoy the morning game driving Tarangire before making your way up to the Ngorongoro Crater Rim.
This morning you can head into the crater for the morning. You will then make your into the Serengeti for the afternoon. You then have time to explore the Ndutu area from Ndutu Safari Lodge.
Today you have the morning to game drive the Serengeti at your own pace, ideally away from game viewers
Today you make your way back out of the Serengeti, through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area on to Lake Manyara. Here you will be staying at Wayo's Manyara Camp, which offers a raw glamping experience.
Today you will drive to Arusha airstrip where you will drop off our vehicle with our team. You will then board your scheduled flight to Pemba Island. On arrival to Pemba you will picked up by the Fundu Lagoon team who will drive you to the jetty for your boat transfer to Fundu Lagoon. This all sounds like a-lot of travelling but it's genuinely fun exotic travel, and what waits at the end it well worth it!
Today you will take a boat transfer back to Pemba's Airport for your scheduled flight (via cessna) to Dar Es Salaam, all in good time for your international flight home.
